Bestest hotel EVER!!! My husband and I had a fantastic visit at the Marriott. The staff was the nicest I have ever experienced. From the concierge (Aaron) to the restaurant and bar staff (Tamas and Miguel) to the great people in the Executive Lounge (Gary and others). They were just amazing. Our room was very comfortable. And the location was great. We were next to the Tube that would take us anywhere plus a ton of restaurants right in walking distance. Thank you Marriott for a fantastic holiday!!!

The rooms are very spacious for the city. The breakfast buffet spread and live counter is good. They are very service minded. The hotel is walking distance from Canary Wharf station on Elizabeth and DLR lines, so very convenient to get in from Heathrow terminal. Try to get a room away from the train lines as the noise is a bit disturbing at night.

Great beds (as you would expect from Marriott), very friendly and speedy service. Rooms are fine but could need some love. My biggest complaint was that the hotel does now allow you to open the windows, even when you ask. The air con is a bit noisy and not very efficient. Will probably consider a different hotel for my next stay.

Was charged £330 for the room (excluding breakfast) and this is the view I was given! Given the price of the room, it wasn't anything outstanding. There's no full length mirror in the room. The milk for the tea was off! The bathroom doesn't have a back/dimmer light. It was spacious however and the room was bright which was good. The room service menu is quite limited and food was not really worth it. Would have at the very least expected fresh potato chips not the frozen kind. For a 5 star hotel, would have liked a robe in the bathroom. The entrance is very nice though and having someone by the doors to open it as you enter and help with bags is a nice touch. Location is good. Would I stay again....hmm maybe if they charged half the price.

I am sorry to say that while I am only a few nights in for my 6 night stay, this hotel is very disappointing. Not sure how it’s a 5 star hotel. Even before arrival, I received a last minute email that the gym was not available. Should be on their website and at reservation time. At arrival I was assigned a room right by the train tracks. Good luck sleeping with the bass under your bed. I requested to change and was given another room. That room was still occupied and the keys allowed me to enter a room that still had a guest sleeping inside. The front desk was mostly worried about that sleeping guest not finding out that I was another guest. I was then given another room. In about 5 mins in that room, house keeping knocked to check when I was checking out. Seriously! This room is better but doesn’t cool which makes sleeping difficult. Service hit and miss continues with missing breakfast order. I need to be able to sleep. I am looking for another hotel. I don’t have hope for this place any longer. Love the location though. As long as you don’t need any sleep. It’s great. Remember to double lock your doors though.
