Lovely stay, very clean, staff welcoming. Very good location. Lovely view from our room on the seventh floor. Child friendly. Would only recommend changing the pillows as some were a bit lumpy. Didn’t really affect my nights sleep. Would definitely stay again.

Had a lovely 2 day stay here. Rooms were clean, spacious, plenty of clean towels, comfy beds, tea/coffee facilities, TV. Only down side for me personally was the room was really warm, bit too much for me.

The gluten-free breakfast was great. With own toaster and bread. Hotel in good location for clubs and shops. Only downfall was a personal thing of not having much of a window in the room, making it dark all the time. Good service and friendly staff

Location was perfect, sadly this was it's only positive. We paid extra for an executive room but sadly it didn't live up to its name. Aircon wasn't working, and this was apparently an ongoing issue with the presence of a small electric heater. Of course I would of called reception to investigate further but their wasn't a phone in the room to do so. We did manage to get a phone and the chap had to pull the bed out to plug in. Which highlighted dust city. The homeless shelter under the railway bridge had less dust. Room fridge had items in left from previous guest, and was rusty, and unclean. Now we did treat ourselves to a room service pizza on our first night, this stayed with us for our 3 day stay as cleaner's didn't see fit to remove from the room, and their wasn't room to leave in the hallway. Room was turn down, but again this was poor. And the shower was, well, someone with a prostrate issue would have a fast flow. The executive rooms stated, they are carpeted, this one wasn't. And many items it lists as part of an executive room were missing. Sadly not good, and we do visit Cardiff regularly so it's over to the Marrott next time. X
