A lovely warm welcome on arrival from Ken. We stayed in the Bodden suite and the room is very spacious with a large en suite. Fabulously comfortable queen size bed, I think, we so appreciated the large bath sheets!! The breakfasts and both evening meals were superb. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely going back again. Thank you.

What a great place with super staff. Popped in for dinner last week and it was just perfect. Would recommend without doubt!

Great food, great staff. We live less than 5 miles from Shepton and never knew this place was there. Will definitely recommend and already booked for dinner next week, when they have live music on.

Just had Sunday lunch, what a lovely place! Food was absolutely delicious and very well priced. We were 4 adults and 2 children, all thoroughly enjoyed the meals. Two chicken, two beef, one pork and one vegetarian and not a crumb was left. Excellent staff and lovely place! We heard one table trying to get a free meal by complaining, but they cleared their plates, why are some people like that, the manager dealt with it very well though!

Just visited the thatch. Had 1 chicken roast and 1 beef and 1 childs chicken roast. 2 small soda and limes and 1 fruit shoot. Total cost £36! The roasts were bland, no flavour at all. Veg was hard and partially cooked. Gravy was just like water. Just seems really expensive for what it was. Don't mind when the food is really tasty. Shame because the service was good. The young lady who served us was very attentive.
