Atrocious with allergies Went here with work for a big event a few weeks ago, with a set menu for everyone I was served fried goats cheese with nuts on the plate. After telling them I was allergic, I was told by the waiter that I could just ‘eat around the nuts’. After this, they served some gnocchi in sauce. I asked if this had nuts on it and was told it was fine. I asked again as it looked like pesto sauce, and after a waiter checked with the chef I was told it was indeed pesto. Both times I asked if they could prepare a version without nuts/ sauce and told no. Furthermore, as things were made as sharing plates I couldn’t even be sure anything was fine due to the high degree of cross contamination from other peoples forks, as I couldn’t get an individual serving. By the time of the main I almost didn’t trust anything that was served, and it was an awful experience for a nut allergy sufferer. The waiters seemed to barely speak English, and not understand the concept of an allergy, despite the fact it had been raised at the time of booking. Avoid.

Too long of a wait for the main course. It took 1 hour 30min from the moment we had the starters. Food not good the fillet steak was well done when asked medium and the sea bass looked not fresh we gave it back. Will not recommend it as we have been there a few times and it is always hit and miss situation

Don't bother! I walked in and was completely ignored, none of that "hello, welcome", sat myself down ready for some wine, cheese and smoked almonds.... but again was ignored... one waiter looked at me a few time but was way too busy to talk to me as he was setting tables, another employee behind the bar was way too busy to chat with a girl (another employee I think)... So after 15 minutes of sitting there, in my corner, ignored and unloved, I left... Good luck with that one...

Restaurant good. Whiskey bar (to floor) also good. WW2 themed cocktail bar (lower floor) also good. Great place to spend an evening. What's not to like?

Quiet spot with great cocktails! The bartender made me a custom cocktail which I loved!
