Old world charm by World Hotels. Great location. Within walking distance to little shops and restaurants. Across the street from a park and not too far to all down to the Royal Mile.

A lovely hotel for our stay in Edinburgh. Bruntsfield was a little bit of a walk from the main hubbub and touristy areas, but we liked that this enabled us to find some really lovely cafe/ restaurant gems out of the centre of town. Plus it was easy enough to walk through the park or down the road to get to various areas in Edinburgh. The hotel itself was nice, the room was a good size (Executive) and came with everything you need. We slept well on the whole, the walls are a little thin so we were woken up by other guests on occasion. This was only really a problem on the first night where there was a function on downstairs, and the noise of the guests leaving at midnight was quite loud! Only other negative to note was that the shower was very weak. I had to hold it quite close to my head to wash out the shampoo which after four nights was getting a little old. We enjoyed the coffee machine that came with the room, and the tunnock tea cakes in the reception area! We would recommend this hotel for others planning to visit Edinburgh in the future!
