Come on a Wowcher deal and we couldn’t be happier! Hotel room is lovely and our meal in the restaurant was outstanding! The food was delicious and one waitress called India just made our experience. She was so welcoming and happy and gave us amazing recommendations and made the most amazing cocktail, we can’t thank you enough India, gave us a lovely anniversary night, thank you ❤️

Absolutely delighted with every aspect of my experience. Handy in terms of position (the bus stop is called "the crown" so you really can't miss it). Staff super polite and professional, beyond helpful and made my stay really worth a come back soon. The rooms are nice and very clean, loved the big bathroom and it was squeaky clean. The bed, a double, was big and comfy and something that I love and I find hard to find.... The curtains were ACTUALLY black out ones. I 100% advise to book a room in this gorgeous structure, nothing negative to say about it. The breakfast was delicious and also the restaurant staff was my favourite, extra kudos to them because I asked countless stupid questions, but I can't function before my coffee. Loved every minute there. I will gladly book again, amazing value for a reasonable price.

Lovely stay overall although not as central as I originally thought, it cost £19 pp per day for various tube travel. The room was nice although a shabby, tired and very worn in places and no view at all. The weekend reception couldn’t do enough to help you after which the midweek staff ignored every request and preferred chatting and flirting to other staff members. The restaurant was lovely, the staff were super friendly and the food was good.

This is the third and last time I have booked at this hotel. If the first two times, everything was perfect, the welcome, the service, the cleanliness and everything else was really worthy of a 4-star hotel, this time, the stars have faded and the hotel doesn't deserve this distinction at all. To be honest, I'd put it somewhere between a 2 or a 2.5 stars at the most. It's incredible how a hotel can deteriorate in such a short space of time. Check-in is at 2pm. We arrived a little early and were told that they couldn't give us a room yet, which we easily understood. We returned at 2pm and the room was still not available. We stayed at reception for some time. By the way, the lady at the reception is a wall of ice with a face as closed and dark as a rainy Sunday. We received the room keys. When we arrived, we realised that it wasn't the room we'd paid for, as the one we'd been given was missing a bed. Back to reception. We waited and waited at the desk. Then we were finally given a room. When we got to the room, we immediately noticed the disgusting moisture all around the window. Condensation droplets on the ceiling next to the window and an impressive amount of mould around the window. I can confirm that the room was unhealthy, never aired or ventilated. A real bacteria nit. In the bathroom, mould was everywhere from the shower curtain to the walls. The floor was full of stains, and the only sofa also had visible stains. Unworthy of a 4-star hotel. Unworthy of a hotel at all. I took some pictures that speak for themselves. Another very serious problem: The door of the room remains open, you have to insist and close it manually. An advice to those who intend to choose this hotel: avoid and run away !!!!!!!!!!

They should close the place down! Lifts out of order, directions from the receptionist to use the staircase following a maze of fire exits, carrying my luggage at the same time to make a huge round and end up to the reception again! Took 20 minutes to finally reach the room. A massive room that had 2 double beds, a sofa, a table and windows all around. It sounds lovely right? Well it was a booking for one person(!) and the a/c was not working! Both mattresses harder that the floor and the duvets thinner than a piece of paper. Drawers falling apart, half of the lights not working, TV control had the batteries taped (not working either). Couldn't being bothered to ask for another room as I was there just for one night. Leaving my card key at the reception in the morning, the two young ladies didn't miss a beat of their chatting when I greeted them, like I was invisible. Don't get distracted from the nice lobby, just turn around and leave! I wish I had the no stars option!
