Visited for the England vs USA game as part of the “For The Fans” FanPark ‘experience’. Unfortunately anything but ‘for the fans’- queued up for at least 20mins in the cold with people being entered in single file through a sole door, not to mention the venue was poorly signposted. Upon arriving it was obvious that the venue was massively understaffed, with only two bars accommodating up to 1000, so queuing was a free-for-all. To make matters worse, all card readers broke 30mins before kick-off meaning everything reverted to cash- who carries it in this day and age? No cash points near venue but we weren’t allowed to leave and re-enter the venue anyway. Ticket price (£30) included a ‘pint’ (came as a 440ml can of red stripe) and some food (described as a pie on the ticket, transpired to be two greasy samosas filled with potato). Felt massively disorganised and underdelivered on the promises. Won’t be visiting again. Less fan park and more derelict warehouse with a small screen.
