Mercure Box Hill Burford Bridge Hotel, Exclusive Hire

Stayed for a night in November, after a long hike around Boxhill. It's a lovely hotel. Very clean everywhere and comfortable rooms. The bar lounge is spacious and very relaxing to enjoy a quiet drink. Dinner in the restaurant was pleasant and the food nice. The setting is beautiful, with Boxhill right behind. Swimming pool closed (obviously) but would be great in the summer. Would stay again.

This is the fourth time my partner and I have stayed here, and as ever we were not disappointed. The staff are always super helpful and happy to assist, the food was absolutely delicious, the bar well stocked and the hotel in general was clean and very pleasant. The weather was absolutely atrocious during our stay thanks to Storm Ciaràn, but we wouldn't have known it inside our very comfy room, where we were warm and cosy the entire time. Even with the outer balcony shutters open, there wasn't a hint of draft! Thank you Mercure Burford Bridge, as always we loved staying with you and can't wait to return.

We were staying for a wedding, which was extremely well hosted, with fantastic food and great staff. We don't live far away so it was a bit of a treat. Having a privilege room with some extra's was nice. I used the lovely outdoor pool the following morning and it was fab to have a towel provided for this. Breakfast was lovely, in a nice spacious room, and I know the walks in the area and Denbies vineyard across the road are brilliant. We unfortunately had a neighbouring room who's TV was on full blast till the early hours. The huge bed was very comfy but we could have done with more pillows, one was rather thin, and there were no spares in the room to use, it was quite late when I discovered this so didn't ring reception (I'm sure they would have been very helpful if I had). We would definitely stay again, and recommend to others, I will be back to use the pool when it opens next summer.
