Great hotel with friendly staff, clean rooms and good food. We stayed here a total of 2 nights and found it had everything we needed. We were lucky enough to get the Ascot room which was stunning! And overlooked the river which was literally outside the bedroom window. Only suggestion is that they should look to update the TV's with the current smart range so that guests can watch online content etc. Otherwise 5 stars and well worth the money.

Very good hotel. Rooms were a good size with modern facilities and a power shower. Comfortable seating and with bar and brasserie, also with seating in the concrete garden overlooking the Thames. All staff were excellent and helpful. Everything we wanted in a short break. There are a few entrances highlighting Sir Christopher Wren but to enter reception is through Brasserie entrance. Minor gripes have to keep asking for tea, milk etc, only 2 of each in room on arriving and service charge added, supposedly on mentioned on menu, not seen. Finally strange one really but Brasserie menu may not be as expected for a hotel of this standard, more of a pub menu.,however food was fine. Overall would recommend

Very attentive and accommodating, reception staff. I was impressed with their service. Room was lovely, but couldn't open all the windws and it was very hot. Had to ask for teabags and an iron. Very well situated and lovely to be on the river. Food was really scrumptious.

You're clearly paying for location here. Hotel is a lovely place full of character but the rooms are left to be desired. We had a lovely spacious and comfortable bed but there were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and hairs in the bath. We had family in the room next door that had a tiny bed compared to ours and no hot water so there is no consistency with the price you pay. We had drinks on the terrace which was lovely but the waiter started to take our order then walked off half way through to get another member of staff to take our order so we had to start again. This lovely lady was called Olivia and she provided us with a lovely service. We had dinner in the restaurant and I would say it was average, my salmon was lovely but only accompanied with a mushroom and a couple of tomatoes along with a few chips. I was still hungry afterwards. They also don't offer sauce with the steak so my brother in law had to ask for some! The waiter was great and had a great sense of humour so service was good. I also need to add that if staff are to be made to wear masks then they should wear them properly not under their noses and chins. As they are no longer mandatory they'd be better off without rather than worn incorrectly. All in all our stay was satisfactory. If I were to visit again I would probably try another hotel, however, I've stayed in far worse!

Lovely hotel, however the spa and gym were closed and we were not made aware before we turned up so we were disappointed. Room was lovely and comfortable, but breakfast was average.
