Me and my mate went to see gilla band here, shocked at how great of a venue it is not just for clubbing, but intense percussive, experimental band music, wish we could've had access to the other rooms, being since there was no point opening them because of the acts being downstairs, I still had a fantastic experience, each trip up or down the stairs, through the halls or even to the toilets was an atmospheric and authentic club experience, with lots of character and dimension, the lighting was a great addition to this. Felt like a genuine club.

Liberation v9 at Fabric John O'Callaghan + Giuseppe Ottaviani 3rd Feb 2024. A wicked night, awesome crowd, zero hassle from bouncers , great staff and home by midnight ! Top class sound system that doesn’t thrash your ears.

Bad experience. The security guard told my friend that he was drunk (he wasn't), so he had to get a coffee and come back later. It was obvious something was wrong, the coffee guy knew the gist. We also asked if he was joking, but he doubled down and assured us that he was serious, and we could come back after 20 minutes after my friend got his coffee. The security guy was obviously abusing his powers and just didn't want to get my friend in for no clear reason.

Honestly I love some of the performers but I can’t go back there. I’ve been there many times and am even a member, but all I can say is the people who work there make it as hard and as inconvenient as possible every step of the way. The night feels exhausting and stressful as opposed to fun and everything from going in to checking your coat to even getting home (you aren’t allowed to wait on the pavement for your cab) is just made so difficult. There are other places with just as good performers that are less stressful.
