Piperdam features the stunning surroundings of the Angus Countryside and Blacklaw Hill combined with the convenience of its proximity to local transport hubs such as Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Aberdeen.

This eases the pressure of logistical requirements but ensures that you don’t have to compromise on an incredible setting.

But unique doesn’t stop there. Piperdam can provide not just the setting but the space. Our Activity Barn accommodates up to 550 people, and our Reval and Riga suites can host up to 80 or 220 people respectively.

The Riga Suite is a multi-functional events space unlike anything you’ve seen before.

Due to its shape and size it's our most popular and flexible room. Capable of hosting up to 220 people it’s an excellent choice for conferences, and it features free wifi, AV facilities, a private bar, and an exclusive entrance.

We had a very enjoyable family trip with dogs. Some of the cabins were on the small side and needed some renovation, but the main one was very spacious and comfortable, with a private sauna and outdoor hot tub. Maintenance were extremely responsive and there were plenty of activities and facilities on site. The dogs loved the woodland location and Camperdown Park is close by for longer walks. We'll be back!

We stayed in lodge 89 which was a Byron Premier spa. The lodge was nice but felt basic for the price that we paid There was a horrible smell from the drains in the bedroom and bathroom- the staff did come and put products to try and reduce this, but when we used the bath it happened again. Basic supplies are provided (cloths, sponges, bin bags, sachet of washing up liquid and 2 dish washer tablets, towels). We were only there for 2 days and this was enough. There was however only 1 toilet roll provided but we got more on request. The website states there would be a hair dryer in there lodge, but we didn't have one. There is no wi-fi (which they tell you before hand) or phone signal in the lodge. The TV's have Freeview. They are smart TV's, but no internet to use them properly. Hot tub was good and was checked regularly by maintenance staff. Nice quiet surroundings and a 10 minute walk from the reception building where the bar and restaurant is.

AVOID!!! We booked a lodge to stay while at a friends wedding and chose to pay extra for a lodge with a hot tub, on arrival our hot tub was not working and we reported this as soon as we realised hoping it could be sorted. Zero communication from staff the whole weekend, we constantly had to keep calling and going to reception for updates. We did not get the use of the hot tub. We have now been told we will be given a refund of 20% because this is “company policy” however we paid more than 20% more for the lodge with a hot tub so unsure how they can get away with this. Seems like they are aware the hot tubs are not working and making money from people by charging extra and then only refunding a small percentage back. To make matters worse our friends who got married here had money stolen from guest gift cards!!
