My boyfriend and I have stayed here twice, and it we have absolutely enjoyed our stays. The staff are very courteous and the rooms are pretty big and the noise of the city doesn’t get in the way at all! The proximity to the most essential locations in London is perfect. Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Chinatown, Mayfair, Covent Garden… it’s all a walk away! In fact, Leicester Square is right in front, Trafalgar Square is right behind, and the West End is all around. I will say that room service may be a bit slow and inconvenient, especially at night. We have had to wait at least 30 minutes to receive toiletries on both stays. Aside from that, my boyfriend and I enjoyed our stays here and we look forward to more hopefully! Note: Delta Stays brought us here! The pictures on this review are from our first stay in May 2023. We came back just before Christmas, and it was a similar experience. :)

Stayed here one night on a business trip and loved it. The location is great - right where you want to be. The hotel has an unique vibe - with antique furniture in the rooms etc, it has more soul than the brand new places. Very good breakfast too. Obviously if you prefer modern, this will not be the right place for you. On a downside - it's not super quiet, I heard everything that was being said in a corridor while I was in my room, also the lifts are suuuper slow.

We stayed for one night before headed out to the country side. In my opinion, this is not a 5 star hotel. Our room was in a very odd location and sort of a let down. If you have any mobility issues at all, do not accept room 222. We also asked with help arranging a taxi and were told they would try, but we were best to walk to a taxi stand. I’ve never stayed at a “5 star” hotel that could not arrange transportation. At £500+ /night I would have expected more. We would probably choose to stay elsewhere on our next visit.

Disappointed. Fantastic location, staff very helpful, bar and breakfast were very good. However the room (despite being called 'premium') was very dated and unrenovated, and the bed mattress and pillows uncomfortable. There are likely better rooms in the hotel, but mine cost quite a bit as it was. Large bathroom was great, with shower over bath which made it a bit challenging getting in and out. No view as my room didn't face the square, but that made it quiet when the square was very busy over the weekend. Unfortunately restaurant only served spicy food (Mexican and Peruvian) but plenty of choices nearby.

Be aware of your deposit might not be refunded. I checked out from this hotel 2 weeks ago with a good room condition, but still haven’t received my £100 deposit refund. Called them twice, always said I should receive the refund soon, but still haven’t received it.
