We love visiting here. We got annual passes from a previous visit and returned for the first time today. Great day out with my child. The animals are so well looked after and the staff so kind and knowledgeable. We asked two lovely keepers about the coats on the penguins and they happily explained fur loss putting our minds at ease. The lady in the gift shop was not only helpful with the purchases we made and checking our Top Trumps answers but when we got stuck in the car park as cars had been parked too close to allow us out, she got us fast assistance from two lovely gentlemen who got us out an alternative way very quickly. Cannot recommend this place enough for a day out but the staff really make it worthwhile. We are so impressed we are going to be moving to VIP passes in the near future. Keep up the good work!

Great day out unfortunately many animal hiding inside due it be a hot day but who can blame them 😂 was lovely seeing some of the animals so close up definitely improved since last time I visited but disappointed they was no elephants anymore 😭 but monkeys did seem a little bored but again that could of been down the heat.. as from what we could see they was lots of enrichment in all animals enclosures.. park was very tidy and well kept.. However this ain’t a 5 star review due to a few issues. 1. As I brought a disabled adult we had to park as far as the car park went as all disabled spots was full.. with many not having badges in.. during busy periods I think the zoo could benefit from parking attendants so selfish people who don’t need a disabled spot don’t use one. 2. We ate at the fish and chip shop and prices are ridiculously high they could still make a profit with Lower prices as for what you pay and the portion size is very very small.. for £10.95 per person for a tray or chips and one battered sausage is honestly daylight robbery.. 3. Definitely not enough benches to sit at near a eating area they is a large area at side of chips shop that could do with more benches as we had to sit on the floor.. 4. Signage/ maps need more signs to point to where things are and maps easier to follow very small and hard to see where things are. Could do with re inventing it. But onto good points Very quick to check in ( we pre booked ) Free parking ( shame about point 1 ) Plenty of toilet facilities. Will return again in the future and just hope to see improvements on parking and food prices.

Nice day spent at Twycross zoo. Most of the zoo areas can be covered in 2-3 hrs with a toddler. Carrying pram is advisable. Limited food options on weekdays (only Costa at entrance and Fish and chips around the middle of the zoo), better to carry on food. Decent sized play area right at the start (takes 7 pounds extra and has 2 hrly time slots).

Great zoo for young children and families. Lots of different monkeys but also giraffes, tigers, penguins, birds, and some huge tortoise. Great water park for the little ones. Lots of picnic space and benches around. The fish & chip restaurant was good value, but only one coffee/ice cream shop open when we went in late June, which was surprising, but staff said more open at the weekend. Return tickets are valid for 12 months, which is great value, so will be visiting again. Easy to book online.

I had a lovely visit here with the family. Some great animals to see, entry is well priced and I think it's great day out. There's a play area, some nice places to sit and rest through out
