December 2024Reviewing for pub meal only, didn't stay in hotel: Brilliant team of welcoming staff, extremely dog & child friendly, nice laid back atmosphere. Very helpful and relaxed vibes & people, yet with perfect service. Wouldnt call it a gastropub but we went for lunch TBF & the food was delicious. The lunch menu was great value for money with the sandwiches & massive portions. I would consider revising the kids menu price as it is only 55p less than an adult sandwich & probably too large a portion for a child. Would have preferred to pay for & receive less quantity. Very happy though overall, they also have a large car park but the road gets quite busy so leaving may take a bit of time.

December 2024We had a Sunday Lunch here. Food was nice! Few bits to improve on! But in total food very nice. 4/5 Food Ordered 2 course priced just under £20 Parsnip Soup. Alto of pepper. But not to over powering. 7/10. Got carvery. Meat quite nice. Roasties very hard peas slightly hard undercooked. 7/10. Reasonable prices Decent food. 3/5 Service
