I had a birthday party in the lower bar area of the pub and it was amazing. The venue was brilliant and everyone loved it. Own toilets, exclusive bar and the option to get a buffet. The food was fantastic and the staff were so lovely too. Book your event here!!

A great cosy pub for sure in the heart of London, right next to Great Portland street tube station. Just had time for a nice and warm mulled wine for the first time and it was great. Will return back more to explore soon.😊

One of my locals, due it having a good selection of beer that's usually well kept. On the downside, it's impersonal to a degree verging on rudeness. I go to drink beer and go elsewhere for chitchat and a smile. I guess the usual customers are transients, waiting for a tube, going home from work... When I die they won't notice nor miss me. Ha!

Standard post work Friday watering hole, able to get a table and good beer. Bar staff not hugely attentive, and was waiting a while whilst they stood around not doing a lot. Atmosphere good once the screaming post work crowd had moved on

Lovely pub very close to Great Portland Street station of which I have fond memories having regularly attended the Indie club night they used to host in the basement a good many years ago! A good selection of beers and spirits. Mulled wine was available and filling the pub with a delightful smell! I didn't eat but the Sunday roasts that were coming out looked delicious (although only beef, chicken and vegetarian were available). The low(ish) rating is because of the diabolical state (and smell) of the lavatories which would put a cesspit to shame. Get them sorted and The Albany will be a fantastic pub.
