My stay started in a room the size of a closet and hotter than Haiti! I was brought 4 fans to help with this but was never offered a different room. While there I became very ill and started to run a very high temp. I called to the front desk to see if they had an Advil or could get me one as I was too ill to go myself and the mgr said he could not help me as it was illegal for them to do that. The only help he could offer was to call for an ambulance. After 2 days of staying in a rediculous HOT room and being very ill I requested to be moved and was to a room that was probably 25 degrees cooler. I also had the privilege of being yelled at by the night desk person when requesting an extra room card. I do not recommend this hotel. The maids and hotel helpers were phenomenal tho.GOOGLE REVIEW

Had an excellent for a friends wedding. Room was very spacious and very close to the weeding area via a back door from the function room. There is one main entrance and a back entrance once you have your key card. Check-in was fast and efficient with all amenities explained. My only complaint would be the rear entrance has a wooden slim decking area. While exiting the door I slipped onto my side right as I was heading to the wedding. This needs some sort of gravel between the wooden beams as I didn’t realize it would be that slippery in the rain. Apart from that the stay was excellentGOOGLE REVIEW

The Hotel is easy to find by car, there’s a lot of free Parking available, also for bigger cars or coaches. Staff was exceptionally friendly, attentive and helpful. The room we got was on the 1st story up, right next to a set of stairs which was a bit noisy when people came up and down, also was it one of two conjoined rooms and the neighbours were very well audible (but luckily quiet at night). Apart from a little dust, the room was clean. We were travelling with two large suitcases and easily fitted everything. The bathroom is a bit squishy, but in exchange is the shower very spacious. Some rooms don’t have A/C, for us it was no problem as temperatures weren’t very high. There is free highspeed Wifi, although it was not accessible from our room. There was no elevator, not sure if there are rooms on the ground floor or if other rooms are accessible by elevator. Breakfast was ok but nothing out of the ordinary. They offer a variety of hot foods, also local specialties. Dietary restrictions are no problem.GOOGLE REVIEW

My wife & I have stayed here twice now & I can't see us staying anywhere else whenever we're in Edinburgh. The hotel itself is beautiful but the staff are what makes it. Nothing is too much trouble for them & they all go out of their way to make sure that your stay is as perfect as possible. Edinburgh Centre is only a 15 minute very pleasant bus ride away & this gives you the opportunity to see parts of the city that you may not ordinarily (we came across a quaint little Italian restaurant this way!) Like I said, we've stayed twice now (our silver wedding anniversary & my wife's 50th birthday) & we're just about to book again for a weekend in July. This is our favourite city & this undoubtedly is our favourite hotel!GOOGLE REVIEW

This is the go to Hotel in Edinburgh. Easy access from the Edinburgh bypass. Always a good welcome from the staff, lovely rooms well decorated and clean. The food is excellent good varied breakfast and meals in the restaurant are exceptional. It’s in a lovely location away from the hustle and bustle of Edinburgh with bus stops right at the hotel running every 10 minutes or it’s quite an easy walk if you feel energetic. Would highly recommend.GOOGLE REVIEW
