Very cool and nice place (museum) especially for the kids. They can really enjoy! Lots of interesting things to see and explore. Also the park behind is beautiful, if you're lucky and it's a nice day and you get a bench to sit on you can really enjoy it. A place for whole family!!

A fabulous few hours spent at the Maritime Museum. Free entry (the exhibits also currently free) donations welcome. (We parked at Greenwich park (max 4hrs) and only a short walk through the gorgeous park!) Cafe and bathroom facilities. Lifts so wheelchair accessible.

A museum that's become a staple of the famous stable of museums in London, National Maritime Museum details Britain's seafaring past, from the many historical naval excursions to the heroic exploits of Lord Horatio Nelson, to the dark chapters of its role in the Transatlantic Slave Trade. The museum caters to the curiosity of both adults and children alike - with plenty of areas designed with the little ones in mind and café areas for refreshment and a breather. I have always been fascinated by the sea and though there are many shades to Britain's past when it comes to its role at sea, the museum opens a fascinating window into a world that shaped this island since its seafaring heydays.

An excellent experience with so much to see and do. The exhibits are wonderful, and some of the A/V information is excellent. The museum is free too. You could easily spend several hours here. There is also an excellent cafe area which is worth a visit.

One could easily spend a full day here, learning all about the maritime world. It offers a vast array of information on many subtopics like cartography, engineering, diving, polar expeditions, submarines, sailing.. There is even a ship simulation and a map creator to teach you in a more practical way. Incredibly enriching and definitely worth a visit
