Greenwoods offers a magnificent venue, some of the best catering in East Anglia and a level of staff commitment which will guarantee the smooth running of your most important day. Built in the 17th Century, this fine listed manor house is set in extensive landscaped grounds and has been refurbished and restored to the highest standards to provide a sumptuous wedding venue. Whether you are looking for an intimate service for 10 or a formal reception for 250, Greenwoods will ensure that each wedding is planned to perfection.
Greenwoods' offers attentive, yet unobtrusive service, making sure that your perfect day runs flawlessly and stress-free. We have several Wedding Packages, which can all be tailor-made to fit your needs and Brides-to-be can also host their bridal showers with us in style!We have a brand new Garden Suite that has been built to cater for 220 sit down guests with a further 50-60 evening guests. This brand new build comes with PA system, built in sound and light systems, exclusive bar and toilets and waiting staff as well as a wedding co-ordinator to oversee and ensure the pefect day for all our bride.
For more intimate wedding celebration we have our library and boardroom for up to 55 people for a civil marriage or partnership ceremony and up to 46 people for a sit down meal. For a less formal reception or for an evening reception, 120 people standing can be catered for.
We also have the perfect backdrop for an outdoor ceremony in our stunning Garden Gazebo which can seat up to 120 guests.

February 2024My husband and I stayed at Greenwood's hotel to celebrate our anniversary and booked an overnight spa package. We phoned to book and were given a better price than stated on the website as we were going during the week so I would recommend calling them when booking. We paid £379 in total for our package and got a 30 min treatment each, full use of spa facilities, 3 course dinner, overnight stay and breakfast. (We paid £40 extra for a room upgrade) We could arrive from 2pm and were greeted warmly, we checked into our room which was very spacious and clean. The pool area was quiet as it was a Tuesday so it felt like we had the place to ourselves at times. We enjoyed an afternoon of going in the sauna, jacuzzi, pool and relaxation rooms. We had a back massage included in our package. I didn't think mine was great to be honest but my husband enjoyed his. The evening meal was incredible - we both had pork belly to start and lamb for main and the food was of a very high standard and our waitress (I believe her name was Lauren) was lovely. The bottle of red wine was also very good. After dinner we had a few drinks at the bar which had a lovely atmosphere. This is one of the more reasonable spas I have been to but the price was not reflected negatively at all in the experience. I would definitely recommend and return.

February 2024In my opinion one of the best spas in the uk I visited a famous brand of spa and it was nowhere near as nice as Greenwoods. The pool is kept nice n clean. Plus decor throughout is lovely

February 2024Spoke to one of the spa reservation receptions via email last week who was reasonably quick to reply but I wouldn’t say over-ally helpful with getting us booked in. A different colleague then responded the following morning and told us to call the spa to pay the full amount before they could book us in. I did this and was greeted by an automated service telling me to leave a name and number due to busyness and they would call me back, no call within 24 hours so I then emailed explaining I had attempted to call but got no call back, left them my name and number to call me back - now been 3 days and nothing back. Incredibly disappointed with this service and incredibly put off visiting.

January 2024I'm currently staying for my birthday and it's really disappointing. No hot water, no dressing robes for the spa treatment, every room is very cold. They had so many people in the pool and relaxation rooms we couldn't get a seat. Felt like a public swimming pool on a school holiday. Lunch was good but not great for the price. Just about to get dinner but my hopes are not high given the fact my teeth are chattering from the cold shower. I've spoken to the front desk but they clearly aren't interested and didn't even make eye contact when I complained. Huge letdown and I will not be back.
