One of the best Vietnamese restaurants in London. It’s a bit on the pricier side but food was bomb. Definitely order the: - Banh Cuon Hanoi - Thit Kho To with Jasmine Rice - Bun Cha Hà Nội - Goi Du Du (Papaya Salad) Will come back!

Title: A Taste of Vietnam on the edge of Hackney Nestled in the bustling streets of the city, Viet grill is a gem that brings the vibrant flavors of Vietnam to your plate. The moment you step in, the cozy ambiance and subtle aroma of herbs and spices set the stage for a delightful culinary journey. The menu boasts a diverse selection of Vietnamese classics, each dish a symphony of fresh ingredients and expertly balanced flavors. The pho, a signature Vietnamese noodle soup, is a standout – the broth is rich, fragrant, and the rice noodles have the perfect texture. I thoroughly enjoyed the pungent kick of roasted garlic in the "garlic pho with flash fried steak" For appetizers, the salt & pepper (chilli prawns are a must-try, offering a delightful crunch with every bite. The spring rolls are a fusion of crispy pastry and savory fillings that transport your taste buds to the streets of Hanoi. The staff's warm hospitality adds to the overall experience, making you feel like a welcomed guest in a Vietnamese home. The prices are reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, ensuring you get value for your money. Whether you're a seasoned fan of Vietnamese cuisine or a newcomer eager to explore its delights, Viet grill promises an authentic and memorable dining experience. It's a culinary journey that captures the essence of Vietnam, leaving you with a craving for more.

Portion was on the smaller side but enough for someone with a small appetite. Beef was tasty - especially the fatty flank. I liked the broth more than the noodles. It came around £17 for one person for just a bowl of pho. Definitely on the pricer side.
