Still owned by Devid Levin, the man who opened it in 1971, Knightsbridge’s Capital Hotel has also become a byword for quiet luxury. Its Michelin-starred restaurant, Outlaw’s, has a couple of discreet private dining rooms, both of which can be set up for board meetings or round-table sessions. The pretty, ground-floor Sitting Room is offered in the evenings for sit-down dinners or drinks receptions, while the team at the in-house Capital bar hosts a variety of masterclasses for groups, including an unusual whisky and cheese tasting night.
