Went for a spa day. Massage very good, staff very professional. Pools, sauna and changing rooms nice and clean. Felt let down by grill/bistro. Had a very limited choice of foods which were not accurately described on menu. No allergy advice and although staff tried to find alternatives, as a dessert fruit salad or ice cream not what you want when you are after an indulgent treat! Bit of a let down that spoilt the day.

Had a long flight, was tired, hot etc. The person at check in was awesome, friendly, quick, helpful and above all nice. Made all the difference in the world. Met a wonderful gentleman named Trevor. He told us stories about the Priory that was captivating. A lovely room and dinner. Wished we had booked more than one night.

I enjoy it here although the pool area is starting to look a little worn. It is a Marriott hotel but could do with a few more touches. Its only little things, like no labels on the the shampoo and body wash. Sometimes the changing rooms have lots of hair everywhere but on a whole it can be nice for a swim.

This is a beautiful place to visit with 2 fantastic 18 hole golf courses which I played this week end. A few issues though my wife is disabled and uses an electric wheel chair their accessible rooms are at the rear of the main building only accessible to wheel chair users by using the road fine with the glorious weather this weekend but in the rain and winter weather it would be awful to access. The room it's self was great but the shower room wet room had a few issues the toilet is way to low for a disabled person they have no seat risers or shower camode chairs chairs which makes life easier for a wheel chair bound disabled person on saying this the saving grace is the family changing room by the pool I is perfect right night toilet shower chair etc why this can't be replicated in the room I don't know. My wife and I enjoyed the weekend but would we go back I don't know. :(

My wife had visited here for a "ghost night" and said the buffet snacks they served were very good. We'd never been here for a meal so thought we'd try the Cast Iron bar and grill restaurant and we weren't disappointed. The service was excellent and very professional even when the maitre'd was faced with a very rude obnoxious little man demanding a table (without having made a reservation) just because he was a long-standing member of the golf club. The food was excellent. The quality equally so. Highly recommended.
