Our central Ipswich hotel is within strutting distance of Ipswich Town Football Club, the town centre, and the nightime buzz of the waterfront marina. But if you can't be bothered to leave the hotel, we've a great signature pentalounge for you to veg out in.

Amazing staff and amazing location. Smart rooms and clean with great value for money. Couldn't ask for more

Good hotel, clean with a cosy ambiance. Great breakfast, and a billard table in The lobby. Good Music in the evenings. I had electrical problems in my room twice though, hence for the 4 stars.

Great deal on the price. Excellent ambience throughout. Quirky and chic. Rooms small but perfectly adequate and spotlessly clean. The dinner and the breakfast were really good quality with friendly efficient service. We went to a nearby pub and we didn't use the bar because there were no draft lagers. I'm sure they will put that right.

Decent rooms and location but a bit pricy. Breakfast, however, was a joke - £15 per person for basic hotel buffet that you'd expect to cost about half that in similar locations. Despite the cost it was ridiculously understaffed with one poor young lady fighting a losing battle alone trying to do everything. Despite her best efforts everything was constantly running out and tables were not cleared and she was constantly bombarded with requests to do X as soon as she started to do Y. Poor management.

I stayed here recently with my girlfriend. The hotel is modern and funky compared to your usual low budget hotels. We did however have a problem with the room being that the window would not fully close meaning the outside noise kept us awake at night. We were given a new room in which the electrics did not work. We then had to move to another room. We did not receive an apology at that time and it was only until we went to check out that we were offered an apology from another member of staff and they waved the £8 parking charge.
