Located only 10 minutes from King's Cross St. Pancras International, amongst plenty of restaurants and bars in fashionable Islington, the Business Design Centre is the UK's first CarbonNeutral® venue; playing host to over 80 exhibitions, 250 conferences and attracting in excess of half a million visitors every year. Facilities include in-house caterers and audio-visual company, an adjacent Hilton hotel, onsite car parking and wireless internet capabilities throughout. The centre also has full disabled access.
The spectacular 2500m² Mezzanine and ground level are located in the centre of the venue and form the main space within the venue. With an abundance of natural light and breakout spaces in close proximity this is the perfect area for any large exhibitions or conferences.
Twenty four bay areas around the level above the Mezzanine provide additional space for exhibition stands on a show. These look down onto the main hall space which is perfect to tie the two areas for one event.

Sicily food festival is amazing place, so happy that I went there. So welcoming, warm atmosphere. Lots of delicious food and very friendly people around.

Great place. I was there for a seminar, and the arrangement was great. There are so many other offices a d work space aside the centre place for events. The roof is beautiful. Staff at the entrance were very respectful. Nice ambience.

Ideal location for Light 23 Exhibition as very easy to get to from Angel Tube although (downstairs toilets not working and not clear where others were!). Really enjoyed exhibition - much of interest but felt proud of our Cranbrook Collection as all British designed and made which was non existent in this exhibition.

Went here for the nat geo food exhibition. It was ok but then the business design centre as such is not well signposted. Everybody looking for the entrance were lost, so it's a bit annoying hosting such big exhibitions without proper signs for guests

My recent business trip to London involved a three-day stay at a notable business venue in the city. The venue, while impressive in some aspects, presented a mixed bag of experiences, highlighting both its strengths and areas needing improvement. Firstly, the venue's interior is undoubtedly its strongest suit. Upon entering, one is greeted by an aesthetically pleasing environment. The design is modern and sophisticated, with an attention to detail that creates a professional yet inviting atmosphere. This aspect of the venue makes it a potentially excellent choice for hosting business events and meetings, as it sets the right tone for a professional gathering. However, a significant downside is the parking situation. The venue offers parking facilities, which is a plus in a bustling city like London. But the cost of £36.00 per day is steep, even by London standards. For guests staying multiple days or those on a tight business budget, this can add a considerable expense to the overall cost of the event or stay. The food served at the venue was another area that fell short of expectations. While it is understandable that catering for business events can be challenging, the lack of variety and the repetition of the same menu on two of the three days was disappointing. Food plays a crucial role in the overall experience of a business event, and variety and quality are key. The underwhelming culinary experience at this venue detracted from the overall satisfaction. In conclusion, while the venue impresses with its interior design and professional ambiance, it is let down by its high parking fees and the lackluster culinary experience. These aspects could be significant considerations for businesses planning events or individuals attending them. The venue has great potential, but attention to these details could enhance the overall experience for its guests.
