Stayed here for a few nights in July 2016 and it was wonderful. Not far from the tube, and restaurants, and it's across from Hyde Park, great location, and the price was within my modest budget. The hotel itself was beautiful. Yes there were some issues, but it is an old building, so I chalked that up to longevity. The staff were nice and helpful, and the rooms were larger than the normal London rooms I'm used to, a plus. The only issue I had was there was no A/C. In the middle of July, and a rare heat wave in London, A/C would have been nice. The hotel did provide a fan, but that only helped so much. Other than that, my stay was comfortable. Recommend if you in town for a couple of night.

This hotel is beautiful. It's in a great location and the staff are more than happy to help with any queries. My room was very large and more than enough for me. I have no complaints about my night's sleep as I slept entirely undisturbed. The breakfast was a buffet style English Breakfast, (the mushrooms are delicious!) Unfortunately I lost an item, which was my fault to be fair, I packed my suitcase leaving 1 item in the bathroom and I didn't find it when I came back, even though I was sleeping a second night there. As they clean the room daily and my suitcase was nowhere to be found, the cleaner must have thrown it away. It's an easy mistake, but apart from that, given the opportunity again, I would definitely stay over again.
