Perfect roast dinner in Kingston! I came on Sunday and service was really good as usual and an added bonus was that the sun was out so was able sit outside and enjoy their great location on the riverside!

Sadly interior was being renovated so lots of noise from flooring works which transmitted outside to the terrace. However the terrace is nice and overlooks the river. Most tables are under umbrella's for some protection from the elements.Tables are nicely spaced and seating is comfy. Menu selection was good and bar serves a good range of drinks.

Had heard good things about this place from friends so we went for a little lunch. The location is beautiful next to the Thames and there is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Staff were friendly and service was efficient. The menu was a little disappointing and very over priced for what it was. Not a lot of choice for vegetarians so I opted for the cheese and pickle sandwich for £7.95. A lot of bread but it was tasty - just a little bit too expensive for what it actually was.

It was an okay experience - the service once inside was fine although the welcome on arrival was over officious which caused some irritation amongst my group of 6. I appreciate there are mandatory checks you need to complete on arrival but this could have been done with more warmth and with a sense you were pleased to have our custom. !!
