I recently visited the Serpentine Gallery for the thought provoking Thinking of You. I Mean Me. I Mean You. by Barbara Kruger. There are a lot of themes behind the bright and bold artworks, and it certainly makes you think (and sometimes laugh). It’s a small gallery, but is well thought out and seemed to handle visitor numbers well. The exhibition is well worth a visit, and it’s easy to prebook free tickets on the Serpentine Gallery website. I would recommend booking tickets in advance as it does get busy.

We went to see Barbara Kruger exhibition on a week day. The entrance is free, although you should book a ticket, we didn't but there was no queue and we entered straight away. Lovely gallery in the heart of Hyde Park.

Visited the Serpentine South Gallery to see the 'Barbara Kruger: Thinking of You. I Mean Me. I Mean You' exhibitions, which is is free admission and walk-ups are welcome. It's one of the nicest free museums and gallery that you can visit in London.

The Serpentine Galleries are two contemporary art galleries located in Kensington Gardens, London. The Serpentine South Gallery, designed by George Hudson in 1834, is a Grade II listed building, while the Serpentine North Gallery, designed by Zaha Hadid, was opened in 2003. Both galleries host a year-round program of temporary exhibitions, events, and education programs, making them a popular destination for art lovers, families, and tourists alike. One of the best things about the Serpentine Galleries is that admission is free, making them accessible to everyone. The galleries are also located in a beautiful setting, amidst the lush greenery of Kensington Gardens. This makes them a great place to spend an afternoon, whether you're interested in art or just looking for a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of London. In addition to exhibitions, the Serpentine Galleries also host a variety of events and programs, such as talks, workshops, and film screenings. These events are a great way to learn more about contemporary art and meet other art enthusiasts. Whether you're a seasoned art lover or just looking for something fun and free to do in London, the Serpentine Galleries are definitely worth a visit. With their free admission, beautiful setting, and world-renowned exhibitions, they have something to offer everyone.
