Myself and family stayed for 5 nights in January and the rooms we had were lovely. Very warm, spacious, clean, and beds were comfortable. Breakfast is very good with a wide selection from hot food, full English, fresh fruit, cereals, pastries etc, fresh juices, selection of coffees and teas. The building and entrance/foyer is beautiful and, again, very clean. Friendly staff and management who are always there to help and assist you. The Met is close to all amenities ie shops, bars, restaurants, train station. Will be definitely staying again and would recommend this hotel if staying in Leeds centre.

Freshly decorated but the rooms are a bit of a lottery. All nicely done but you either end up with a tiny one or a massive one. No way of knowing. Breakfast is great and service is pretty good, I'd say this is a strong 7/10. Definitely better places but this is strong overall. Main downside is the lift has not worked for over 2 months. You'd better be fit!!

Nice clean hotel and the staff were great. Rooms are a bit small and no air conditioning so can get quite warm as the windows do not open much to allow air flow. As it is an older hotel you could hear every footstep in the room in the floor above but this is to be expected from an older building.

Room was substantial. Beds weren’t that comfortable and pillows too small. Bathrooms were fine. Clean. Gym was very small and not that much to work with, so if this is in an important element of your stay, I’d advise finding a local gym. Good location though and good service.
