Since our ground floor refurbishment at the beginning of the year we have received amazing feedback on how we have managed to hold the traditional features of the building but at the same time modernise ourselves to ensure we cater for everyone. There is now a Marco Pierre White New York Italian Restaurant within the hotel which makes for a wonderful addition, especially for a stylish meal the evening prior to the big day for all the bridesmaids and bride to treat themselves!
Whether you are thinking of an intimate gathering for under 30 guests, or a dazzling reception for 300 you will find the hotel has something for everyone and we will look after you every set of the way, offering you the ultimate convenience of enjoying your big day all under one roof.
We offer a selection of 3 beautiful rooms in which to say your vows, the Queens Hall can hold up to 120 guests and has its own private entrance and reception area which can be viewed in its elegance on our website, Twitter or Facebook accounts. The Cromwell Room & Empress Room are as traditional as they come, if your after a vintage intimate ceremony within a historic setting with stunning fireplaces either of these will spoil you rotten.
Our upper lounge is a perfect setting for treating your friends and family to a glass of Pimms or Prosecco for their reception drinks in anticipation of the wedding breakfast. The wedding breakfast is an important part of your day and we offer a range of enticing menus to delight your guests. Our talented chefs can create a range of tempting dishes to satisfy every taste. We work with you to design the perfect menu, from a six-course wedding breakfast to an informal buffet.
The Kings Hall will leave your guests speechless, from the moment they enter for your wedding reception they will be in owe of the beauty and history within it. The grand fireplaces make the ultimate backdrop for your top table and the cutting of the cake giving you those picture perfect memories.
