Decent hostel, nice enough size on the beds, and a very good location. I would say the hostel downstairs lacks a bit of energy, I've stayed in quite a few hostels, some of which can have a good night spent without needing to leave the building, but for a cheap place to stay, close to some great areas and a nice enough reception from the staff, I'd recommend. Big up to the recommendation of bold street, had a great time down that way. Over all a 7/10

Super quirky, central, two min walk from bars, from Liverpool central also. In an former young men's hostel, very much fit for purpose except for the noise! The decor is great, the staff were so lovely. Sadly also there are no vegan options whatsoever which is maybe a problem in the area rather than the place itself.

Clean room and bathroom, although the bathroom was clean the walls had lots of black marks and water drip marks all over. There was a small rug next to the bed that I kept slipping on as it wasn’t stuck down and was on a wooden floor. There was no TV or tea making facilities. There was no WIFI information provided at reception or in the room. The bar was advertised as open but when we enquired with the front desk they outright said they didn’t know when it was meant to be open or if it ever would be. Felt more like a hostel than a hotel but we paid hotel prices. If a Travelodge can provide a kettle and small TV not sure why this hotel couldn’t. Also was a lot of noise in the early hours from other guests getting in and the walls were thin enough it woke us up several times. Quite disappointing overall as I had heard good things about the brand.

The hotel is nice and the staff are lovely. It is also very close to the city centre so it is convenient. Also near the train station and about 15 minutes walk to the bus station. The only down side is, I paid the same amount I would at premier Inn or travellodge, but the rooms do not come with a kettle or even small TV. Other than that I had no issues. There is also a nice kitchen to use.
