At the top of Charlotte Street, they won’t give you caviar with champagne. It’s hot dogs or nothing. Thankfully, there are 16 to choose from, covering pork, beef and veggie bases. Opened in 2012, the restaurant is the brainchild of Sandia Chang and her husband James Knappett, who has his own Michelin-starred restaurant at the back of the property. Bubbledogs takes reservations for smaller groups at lunchtime, but can be hired exclusively for private dinners and drinks receptions. If you want the team to come to you, you can hire Johnny – a street-food van launched in 2016 that can cater at external events.
