Wonderful location with easy access to the tube. All of the staff were attentive, helpful, and friendly. Standard breakfast you'd expect from Hilton. Older building ( it's London!). So just a heads up for tall folks like me, the shower was a bit of a challenge with the ceiling being shorter than me.

I would suggest you try this hotel rather than pay too much heed to the negative reviews. It's indeed excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed my three night stay. The one tricky part is that the nearest tube stop only has trains on weekends, but once you figure out the overground and the nearby tube stops that are on the normal part of the district line you will be grand. There are also lots of buses going towards the city centre. The room was very modern, particularly the lovely big Samsung TV. I appreciated the bathroom and how clean everything was. The shower has no curtain so water can go everywhere but you can help that by angling the shower head towards the wall a little. The breakfast was first class, lovely food and great staff. The bar and restaurant are also wonderful with helpful staff, great food and a wide variety of items for eating and drinking. Sandy in the bar was particularly helpful. Sometimes the staff found my accent hard to grasp as a Northern Irish person but that was easily rectified by me speaking slower and more clearly! A wonderful stay which actually was cheaper than a Premier Inn in a similar area. I look forward to a return visit in the new year! Highly recommended!

I am in line with the average stars. Our experience was pleasant. We did find it extremely busy but then again it is London. The staff where pleasant enough and the service at restaurants and breakfast was good. A lot of good choices for breakfast for all food types. The bed was not a great experience. I fact both my wife and I came away with sore backs. The mattress was not good for us at all. The location much better if closer to a Tube Line, the overground is just around the corner 7 minute walk. I would stay again if I had something to do in the area.

Rooms were quite small, but room service and cleaning was on point. Everyone was very nice, but the breakfast buffet lacked luster after day 1. The hot stuff didn't stay hot from the time you received it to the time you sat down, so ended up having to go out for breakfast most of the trip. Location was great, walking distance to everything you needed including the tube station.

Upkeep of the hotel is very poor. Rooms and furniture is quite run down. Some rooms are very small with hardly any room to move around. Their heating was absolutely pathetic. They seem to use this to reduce their cost - at the expense of guest comfort. Their breakfast had an extensive spread and was the redeeming factor
