After closing its doors in Neal’s Yard earlier this year, the foraging-focused restaurant Native finds a new home in London Bridge. While the London Bridge area is filled with great restaurants and food markets, Native brings something entirely different to the dining scene.
After learning about foraged produce at New York’s renowned restaurant Blue Hill Farm, chef Ivan Tisdall-Downes was inspired to bring a similar experience to London, together with Imogen Davis, who has who has practiced the art of foraging from an early age. Located just steps away from Borough Market, Native is a warm and welcoming space with exposed brick, trailing greenery and plenty of natural light. But the best part is hidden in the kitchen; a seat at the intimate chef’s table lets you watch the magic of Native’s cookery first hand, before you feast on an eight-course tasting menu.
