Wonderful site and amazingly, free to visit. Well worth a trip. There is so much to see in Greenwich - the place is steeped in history and much of it is freely accessible, and free at the point of entry, including the Maritime Museum and Greenwich Park. There are also free concerts in Trinity Laban and St Alfege's. Check out the fab food available in the market.

We found the old royal navy college to be fascinating. The music coming out of the Trinity Laban music college was phenomenal and we sat for a good hour a dB listened to them rehearse. We wondered around the grounds for hours and we visited the museum which we found very interesting. Steeped in history we very much enjoyed our visit.

This is spread out over a few of the buildings in Greenwich. The Painted Ceiling is currently undergoing staged refurbishment but what is restored is amazing. This is part of a World Heritage Site and has been seen on various feature films as well Some of the buildings now form part of the University of Greenwich

This location is incredibly photogenic, and easy to get to from the Greenwich dock. The Chapel is absolutely beautiful. There was a choir rehearsal on when we visited the chapel, which made it all the more special. Definitely worth a walkabout when in Greenwich.

Very grand and historic building which we had the privilege of entering to see the university graduation of our daughter. But the acoustics in the main hall are not 'tinnitus-friendly'! I don't know if anyone else there heard any of the speeches but I was not able to understand much of any of the speeches, which was a real shame. Not sure anything can be done about that though.
