Beautiful pub, one of the nicest I’ve been to in the Sheen / Richmond area of London. Warm welcoming vibe, beautifully decorated, great beer garden and good food. Can’t ask for much more

Updated as returned for a Sunday roast: Beef very delicious. Potatoes were a bit meh (never crispy at all pub?!). No stuffing but made up for it with delish cauli cheese and Yorkshire pud. Some red cabbage or peas would’ve been good. Were sat in the door so had to eat in coats as was so cold - as for a table away from it if you feel the cold! Our waitress shut the curtain but doesn’t help much when it’s opened all the time. Guinness was terrible and watery, couldn’t finish it! Original review: Popped by for a New Year’s Day lunch after a walk round Richmond park. V busy but lots of tables outside with heaters or covers so we weren’t fussed. Staff were pretty dismissive but let them off as NYD and probably hungover! Food was delish and the servers were v friendly (just not manager!). Burgers, fish and chips and chicken schnitzel all devoured. Will be back! £20pp including food, soft drink and service, not bad these days!

Such a shame that the food at the Plough is not like it was in the past pre Fullers! We had dinner recently it being our local and were shocked by the portion sizes! We had the risotto as a main which was barely a starter size portion. The greens accompanying the fish pie only a few mouthfuls more like a garnish and the extra side of broccoli a measly 4 stems!! Left hungry and won’t be back in a hurry!
