The Rosemary Branch was once a Victorian music hall, and so theatre and performance are soaked into its beams and rafters. The legend goes that such greats as Charlie Chaplin, Marie Lloyd and many others performed here.

March 2024A cosy pub with a lovely fire and an amazing comfort food! One of the best vegan roasts I've ever had. Potatoes were crispy on the outside, fluffy in the middle, the gravy was delicious, and everything had tonnes of flavour. Will 100% be coming back for more! Shout out to the chef for such a good dish. When it's not a Sunday Roast, the selection of vegan food is still outstanding and you get delicious proper pub grub that isn't just a salad. Plus, the staff are really friendly and funny too! 10/10

December 2023Lively bar. Doggy friendly 🐶. Friendly staff. Music was jarring and way too loud for normal conversation which caused everyone to speak louder. Could not hear the person sitting just opposite me. Friday night: Table booked for 5. All of us ate. Burgers were a bit lame but my fish and chips was delicious 😋 As was my Guinness. Asked them to turn down the music twice but then they turned it back up again after a few minutes. One of our group announced as we stood outside after 2 hours "that was intense!" we all agreed.
