Excellent opportunity to spend a bit of time at the top of a building you can't just walk in and visit. Wanted to go to top and see views and wasn't disappointed. Easy booking service and was contacted with information to make visit easier and to ensure my booking was confirmed. Deposit of £15pp was fine and it was credited to my bar bill, so paid for at least 4 drinks in advance. Not the cheapest at £7 for a bottle of beer but it's a out the experience and the views plus it's not that dear compared to central London venues at ground level. Was a bit quiet when I visited so could imagine a lot more atmosphere when full. Service was first class. Our servers were amazing, friendly, attentive and polite. Really enjoyed the visit.

Worth a visit, great dinner with amazing views of the London skyline! Food is your typical modern British items, it was good but nothing out of their world. However, you come here for the views and great service! Try getting a table by the window and ideally at sunset!

Enjoyed a fantastic afternoon tea atop The famous Gherkin. Gorgeous views over London. We had a cocktail after on the next level up & as high as you can go in the building watching the sunset over Canary Wharf in the distance.

Searcys at the Gherkin, huh? Sounds like the kind of place where you need a reservation just to get a reservation. And you might as well book your spot a month in advance if you want any hope of snagging a table on a Friday night. But hey, good things come to those who plan ahead, right? So, you roll up at 5 PM, thinking you're early to the party, only to find the joint as empty as a politician's promise. Not exactly what you'd expect for a Friday night, but hey, who's complaining? It's like having the whole place to yourself, a rare treat in a city that never sleeps. Now, let's talk about the view. Sure, it's no Shard, but it'll do in a pinch. Watching the sun go down over London while sipping on a cocktail? Not too shabby. Just be prepared for a bit of fog on the windows during the afternoon; things really start to pop once the city lights flicker to life. Oh, and speaking of cocktails, you better believe they're gonna make you put your money where your mouth is. Literally. A thirty-quid down payment just to secure your spot? It's like they're charging you to make a reservation. But hey, at least you can put that towards your bill, right? Just make sure your date shows up, or you'll be out of pocket and out of luck. All in all, Searcys at the Gherkin is a solid choice for a pre-dinner drink with a view. Just make sure you're prepared to jump through a few hoops to get there.

Location: Nestled at the pinnacle of the iconic Gherkin building, Searcys offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the London skyline. The impressive setting alone makes a visit here almost essential. Service: The bar staff at Searcys are commendable, attentive, and proficient in their craft, ensuring a pleasant experience with their service. However, the experience is slightly marred by the usher, who seems to struggle with accommodating guests' specific seating requests, which can be disappointing for those looking for a perfect spot to enjoy the view. Ambience: The bar's ambiance under the glass dome is genuinely captivating, creating an almost ethereal experience as you sip your drink bathed in natural light. However, it's unfortunate that the maintenance of the windows isn't kept to the same standard, detracting slightly from the otherwise stellar setting. Summary: Searcys at The Gherkin is undoubtedly a cool bar boasting one of the best views in the city. While the ambiance and service are generally good, a few shortcomings, such as the less accommodating usher and the less-than-pristine condition of the windows, keep it from achieving a perfect score. Despite these issues, it remains a must-visit for those seeking a unique bar experience in London.
