Skinners’ Hall dates from 1670 when it reopened having been rebuilt after the Great Fire of London. The Hall comprimises of a variety of outstanding inside and outside spaces offering great flexibility. This fine facility combines stately halls, elegant chambers and homely rooms with a warm atmosphere and modern amenities.

Entrance is via the ceremonial gates and charming paved courtyard, inspired by Chelsea Flower Show gold medal winners Tommaso del Buono and Paul Gazerwitz. The building has many unique features which include a round gallery and open fire, the magnificent polished East India Table and the beautiful Italianate roof terrace. The Skinners’ Hall also features unique works by the prolific Anglo/Welsh artist Frank Brangwyn, among other historically important artworks.

Skinners' Hall is an exceptional destination for special events. Our devoted and efficient staff can accommodate almost any configuration from an intimate private dinner, meeting, conference, wedding to a roaring party for three hundred guests.

The Great Hall, can accommodate up to 170 guests for dinner or a meeting and up to 300 for standing receptions. Dating back to 1670 the Hall is oak panelled with high ceilings and plenty of natural daylight.

Amongst the remarkable features of the Great Hall is an exquisite silver display case, coats of arms and large panels painted by Sir Frank William Brangwyn - a perfect talking point between your guests at any event.

The Great Hall can be used for a range of events and is adapted to a variety of layouts based on your requirements. It sits adjacent to the Old Court Room and can be used in conjunction with the Committee Room and the Outer Hall (break-out rooms), with two courtyards for al-fresco entertaining at ground floor level.

    This is one of London's oldest and most important Livery Companies. It is not open to the general public but if you are invited as a guest to one of their formal dinners you must attend. Traditional building steeped in history. Skinners support many charities and schools. Long may it's traditions continue.
