St. Ethelburga's Centre is a stunning venue situated near Liverpool Street. It provides a fantastic combination of intimacy and grandeur with original 14th century arches providing the backdrop to the main space. Destroyed by an IRA bomb in 1993, it has been rebuilt with modern features and offers a unique and memorable space for any event. It is equipped with WiFi and has an in-house projector and sound system available in the main space.

The Bedouin Tent is a circular space, ideal for meetings and away-days, intimate gatherings and workshops, while the Nave offers a spectacular space for larger events.

We can offer catering from light refreshments right up to a fully staffed service. Or, for if you are an individual or small charity, simply bring your own and use our kitchen.

This is a place like no other!

The Tent at Seventy Eight Bishopsgate is a unique space located just a stone's throw from the thoroughfare of Bishopsgate and Liverpool St. Station. A 16-sided structure, made in Saudi Arabia and covered in woven goat's hair, the tent is a peaceful space ideal for meetings, workshops/training events and, along with the stunning garden courtyard - a real oasis in the City!

It is carpeted and fully heated, with a range of atmospheric lighting options.

The tent is circular with cushioned bench seating around the edge. Comfortable capacity is 28 people. There are no tables in the tent and people are asked to remove their shoes before entering.

It was a nice venue, we had gone there for an event it was not too small but not too big either shows that it's quite a good space for events. There is a nice little outdoor area too.

What a beautiful sanctuary nestled in the heart of the city! St Ethelburga's is a wonderfully peaceful place. I was there for a workshop and it was a great space to use, it's also be perfect for weddings and other ceremonies. Geoff the caretaker was lovely too. Highly recommended :)

Peaceful garden hidden in the middle of steel and glass building. There is a construction site next to it so it’s a bit noisy, but otherwise this is a great place for respite.

I was here on the 11th for the Antarma Live event with friends. I have been to other events like this and this one was truly magnificent. It was entertaining and the sound quality just blew us away.
