The staff here are excellent. For our experience they were faultless and went above what we expected. It was a nice surprise to get such a pleasant welcoming. First class. The hotel is of a high standard. King size room was perfect for family of 4. Spacious, clean and views from the 7th floor were nice. The swimming pool is a good size and spa facilities are also good. Bar and restaurant high class. The only downside is the extortionate cost of breakfast, but it was no problem for us as lots of local options.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Chelsea Harbor Hotel & Spa and it was a truly unforgettable experience from start to finish. From the moment I entered the luxurious lobby, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for the rest of my stay. The room itself was beautiful and boasted a stunning view of Chelsea Harbor which made waking up every morning an absolute delight. The attention to detail in room design and amenities was impeccable, ensuring both comfort and elegance at every turn. One of the highlights of my stay was using the spa services offered by the hotel. From relaxing massages to rejuvenating facials, each treatment was expertly performed, leaving me pampered and refreshed. The dining options at The Chelsea Harbor Hotel & Spa were equally impressive. Whether enjoying a decadent meal at the hotel restaurant or sipping a cocktail at the bar, the culinary offerings were simply exceptional. However, what really sets this hotel apart is its exceptional service. Every member of staff went the extra mile to make my stay simply perfect, attending to my every need with professionalism and genuine care.

The decor in the hotel and rooms needs some updating. I will say the service is good. We were always greeted in the hallways and at the front desk. The food however isn’t good in my opinion. I ordered room service one time and never again. The location is a good distance from SoHo. The overground is just a five minute walk away from the hotel which was great. The room we were in had two toilets which was good.

I came to visit the spa as a treat with 2 friends. The spa was ok, it was nice as an excuse to spend quality time with friends, but it is not luxury. You get nice fluffy towels, a robe and slippers when you arrive. The lockers are free and don't need coins. There is a pool with comfy loungers along the side, strangely half the pool was off limits as there was a swimming lesson going on when we visited at the start of the afternoon spa session (2pm). There are women-only showers, sauna and steam room within the changing rooms. They were clean and a good temperature but didn't have much atmosphere. The nice lady at reception told us that to get to the bar for refreshments we had to exit the spa and go into the main hotel, however when we did that at the end of our session several large bouncers rudely blocked our way, questioned what we were doing there and refused us entry. It was a shame as we were really looking forward to a drink and some nibbles in the bar overlooking the harbour. It turned out to be a match day, so we had a lot of trouble funding an alternative bar that wasn't full of football fans.

My family and i stayed here for a week during the Christmas holiday. I am not sure if it is a 5 star hotel anymore, it may have been at some point. The Hotel is far from a lot of the central attractions in London. It is about a 20 min cab ride to Westminster and Piccadilly Circus and about 30 min or so to Kensington, but you are nevertheless in an excellent part of town. The location of the Hotel is a very nice area within Chelsea, so you will definitely be in a good safe area and there are a few pubs around within walking distance; such as Lots Road, but the area is more suburban so there in essence, there is not much to do around there and you will have to get a cab to get to the more scenic areas. The rooms are exceptionally clean and their room service is very good. However, their lobby service is exceptionally poor and incompetent, and this is perhaps one of the reasons, why I choose to stay at Marriott's or Ritz and not places like this. If you are looking for a hotel in a quieter area of town, this is a good place to stay, if you are looking to stay within a closer proximity to the central attractions of London, then I would not stay here. You will more than likely end up spending a lot in cab fare, not to mention the accumulated time spent in taxis that you could be walking to your next adventure. One final note to be aware is they do have a late checking and do not expect to get your room earlier than the check in time, in fact we got our room an hour later. I would not stay here again. There are better hotels for the price that you will pay here and several better located within the more attractive areas of London.
