About The Montague Ski Lodge

The Montague on the Gardens Hotel, 15 Montague Street, London, WC1B5BJ

The four star Montague on the Gardens Hotel combines the best of two worlds. In front is the British Museum and the hurly-burly of tourist London, whilst to the rear there's a serene private garden, cut off from the city by a rectangle of fine Georgian townhouses.

Between the two lies The Montague on the Gardens Hotel – an intriguing blend of up-to-the-minute city vibrancy and old-world Bloomsbury charm, where guests can expect British hospitality at its finest.

Featuring an excellent array of peaceful and exciting outdoor and indoor event spaces, as well as our seasonal pop-up concepts, The Montague Ski Lodge and The Beach Bar.

If you are looking for a unique way to celebrate the festive season in London, then look no further than the Montague Ski Lodge - London's original ski lodge and winter party venue. From standing receptions for up to 200 guests, and private festive dinners for up to 100 guests. Our Festive parties can be entirely customised depending on your needs. Also, dance the night away with our resident DJ until Midnight.

The Wood Deck will be transformed into a magical ski lodge: with pine trees, falling snow, reindeer, snowmen, ski racks, piste maps and strings of fairy lights and lanterns. The centrepiece is a bar serving a selection of beverages from a choice of 12 including Schnapps and flavoured vodkas.

The Montague on the garden hotel My partner and i have just had two nights at this fabulous hotel. This should be a five star hotel. The staff are fantastic and nothing was too much. From start to finish they did all they could for us. The hotel itself was so truly wonderful. Everything was absolutely perfect I would definately recommend this hotel. Thank you so much for a lovely stay

The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location... 10 minute walk to Soho and Chinatown, 30 minute walk to the London Eye and a 15 minute uber to London tower. The room is dated, but the bed was comfortable. Breakfast is tasty. Avoid the bar as drinks are very over priced and there are several spots within a 5 minute walk.

Couldn't recommend this hotel more highly! Convenient location, well appointed rooms, great food and best of all, outstanding service. We are fairly well traveled and The Montague was top notch. Breakfast was fabulous, fresh and included in our stay. Be sure to get the tour when you check in so you don't miss any of the special places hidden here! Kudos Red Carnation Hotel Collection on this little gem and your great team here! Best, Michelle B., Naples FL

I spent a night here and am torn between 4-5 stars. It's one of the most beautiful decorated hotels I ever stayed in and the staff was very kind and friendly. Still, I'm opting for 4 stars due to the tiny size of the room I got. Similar to the rest of the hotel it was wonderfully designed, but to the extend that it felt cramped. The bed took up something that felt like 40-50% of the room size, but maybe that's typical for London. I can recommend it, if space doesn't matter for you.

Had a wonderful Afternoon Tea! Had the option to smell the different tea sorts to decide which one to choose. Everything was very delicious, the scones soft and warm. The staff seemed a little rushed but was nevertheless very attentive and nice. We were able to take our time and enjoy the treats slowly and got two refills of hot water for more tea.
