August 2023Been considering pubs with rooms for a while and enjoyed the first try here:) Literally across the street from Farringdon, with easy connection to Heathrow and other locations via tube and trains. The adequate amenities are great, better than some Marriott hotels (the days are gone when all decent hotels offer vanity kits and toothbrushes and slippers). Also love the soya “shots”. Not vegetarian, but really like the unique idea. The room is clean and nicely decorated, spacious with high ceilings (although there’s some water remaining in the kettle.) The area is bustling in the evening and quiet at night and in the morning. Mostly feels safe upstairs with a separate entrance. (Just wish the bathroom window can be locked for extra security.)
