Enjoy taking my family and grandchildren each year. They enjoyed themselves. The only downside was that there seemed to be more people on the ice. This makes it harder to have a proper skate round.

Place was easy to locate and nice environment... But the staffs were not knowledgeable and did not provide proper advice... In particular please take your time in selecting the right shoe size... As no staff will assist you properly... If you choose the wrong shoe size then you will ruin your day....

I wasn't impressed at all with a few things. I am used to ice skating in other venues, such as Somerset House for example and I was extremely disappointed with the poor quality of the skates provided at the Tower of London. The tongue of the skates is really hard and bent, which catches the bridge of the foot really bad causing a lot of discomfort and pain. Both my partner and I had the same issue and even after swapping the skates twice, we still had the same issue. As a result, we only managed to skate for 30 mins as it felt so uncomfortably painful to skate. I was also unimpressed with the cafe/bar. They chose cold metal chairs in a cold ice rink in the middle of winter, which is probably not a very good idea I must say. The choice of drinks was also quite poor, we had two really tiny mulled wine glasses and charged £5 each (a total rip off in my opinion). Also the cloak room charge of £2 per item seems a bit excessive, given we already paid £14.50 for our tickets. I think £1 per item would be acceptable? It felt they are trying to profit at pretty much every available opportunity. On a positive note, the staff in both the bar and the ice rink were friendly.

Brilliant. Well equipped, efficient, lovely location, one of the best spots in London. Expensive though and it does get very busy (try the early slots). Attached cafe / bar is nice but also very pricey. Note there's no easy access for wheelchairs or prams.

Very nice ice rink which I thoroughly enjoyed, but I was very upset for the poor Londoners who don't know to skate and bump their noses onto the ice so often that I was surprised of the strength of an average British nose.
