About Upstairs room

The Bunch of Grapes, 2 St. Thomas Street, London, SE1 9RS

Snuggled between the Shard and Borough Market, you’ll find the Bunch of Grapes, the coolest pub in London Bridge. The kind of cool that comes from perfectly kept beers, great food, great music and a team that make Blue Peter presenters look miserable.

Whether you’re going for that “one drink” after work; viewing the skyline of London Bridge from the Shard; or discovering the delights of Borough Market at the weekend; we are the perfect pit stop where you’ll end up staying, and missing your last train home!

The Bunch takes it’s 200 year heritage seriously, with our Young's classic ales. But history is not all dust, dates and dead men, it’s an inspiration for the future, and nothing inspires quite like a good drink. That’s why, alongside our continental favourites, we strive to bring the best flavours of London to the taste buds, from Craft beer to Craft small batch gins.

A decent pub with a small outside space. On weekends it's fairly quiet but it gets busy on weekdays. A good selection of beer and decent food, including a selection of roasts. Table service upstairs is a great plus.

I was served out of turn, the Young"s ordinary (a popular type of ale) was on the turn. Could this be why the garden was hardly full on such a sunny evening at 6pm right next to London Bridge Station? I have given 2 stars despite the above because it has been very good in the past and the staff levels have been high and of good quality. Let's hope they get back to their potential, easily a 4, possibly a 5.

Nice little pub eight next to The Shard. Has a terrace out the back. Decent selection of beers and nice food. Bar snacks(sausage rolls pork pies etc) are really nice. Average prices I suppose for the area.
