March 2024Excellent location. Nice room and pleasant service. The breakfast was very good and all the staff were very helpful, especially the two ladies serving breakfast.

February 2024Well recommended, no issues. Breakfast is standard, it's a hot buffet but with only scrambled eggs- although on leaving I noticed staff bringing poached and fried eggs to other guests - not sure if that costs more but either way I was disappointed we weren't given the opportunity. Location very central just a few mins from portland tube. Note that in our room you could hear a continuous noise from outside despite the windows being closed - worth noting in case you are particularly sensitive.

January 2024Quick check in and lovely room. Very clean. Opted not to have the £25 per person breakfast! Lots of cheaper and great options nearby. Asked reception to investigate the constant banging noise in our room on the 4th floor but when we returned nothing had changed. Banging noise all night, very little sleep. Having been up all night the solution would have been to secure the old wooden sash windows to stop them banging in the slight wind. Very limited options in the bar. Cocktails on the menu but the barman didn't know how to make cocktails!

February 2024I have not yet stayed at the hotel. Today i booked an 8 night stay for the end of march. Only AFTER I paid the extra 20 pound per night per person for breakfast was I informed that this was only for a continental breakfast, not a full one. This should have been stated clearly before I made the final order and paid.
