Always surprised at how quiet and undiscovered this place is... Service and decor great. Prices are the usual for the area.

Lovely resteraunt great old architecture still in place and was originally fitted out well. Nicely positioned and reasonably quiet street. Food is lovely and quite well priced, it's more than your good gastro pub prices but the quality it superior. Staff are lovely if get a good rapport going. Very nice I'd definatly go again if in town however our regular Brownes is in Kingston which is brilliant.

Perfectly nice and good value. Waiter was fun but the speed of food coming out was a little slow. Would also prefer to know what is not available before we make our menu choices - it was early evening after all!

Great atmosphere, good service but very disappointing food. My steak was stringy and not tasty. It felt like the kind of steak you get in cheap pubs.
