Situated in the heart of Mayfair – London’s most exclusive fashion and boutique district, the only hotel located on Bond Street, a stone’s throw away from cultural treasures, shopping, theatres and London’s commercial centre.
The first Westbury was opened in 1927 in New York City by the polo playing Phipps family, later in 1955 The Westbury London was opened, becoming the first luxury American hotel in London and one of the finest hotels in Mayfair. In 1999, Cola Holdings acquired The Westbury and set in motion some radical changes.

The Wine Room is an atmospheric, glass-enclosed space within the restaurant, offering an intimate privacy whilst allowing guests to observe the meticulous service in the main dining room. Accommodating up to 10 people around a handsome honeyed glass table, The Wine Room is surrounded by nearly 600 bottles of wine.

What's not to love about this hotel. Beautiful interiors and courteous service in the thick of one of London's best shopping areas. Walking distance to many good restaurants and bars, as well as the restaurants in-house of course - we enjoyed the sushi restaurant the most. The concierge was able to get me in to a salon for a haircut with very little notice on a Saturday so if you need someone to pull some strings for you pop downstairs and see the Westbury concierge desk ;)

Great staff, very helpful! I forgot my bow tie and the concierge had one available and even helped me to put it on! Perfect! I would have given 5 stars if the luxury room wouldn't have a tiny bathroom where I cannot even open the door while being inside because it is so small.

A recent addition to the Luxury Collection brand. Reasonably good hotel bar, and there is also a choice of Japanese or British cuisine for dining. Air conditioning in the rooms were a bit peculiar though - one needs to turn it off and open the windows in order to avoid being baked alive on a warm sunny day. I get the sense that this property still has to go through a transition phase to reach the usual standards of the Luxury Collection brand. Hopefully they get there soon, it would be a shame to waste such a brilliant location.
