March 2024What training do the bouncers here have? Truly horrible and unprofessional. The female bar staff told me my friend has been assaulted and was was told to leave as my friend was too drunk (which is fine I understood) I tried to tell the bouncer she had left her phone inside and could I go look for it and shoved my about three grown men. So much for keeping us ‘safe’. Horrible experience and makes me never want to go to matthew street again. I felt really unsafe and scared. Please do better to make women feel safe and get some female bouncers OR get some training on safeguarding and the basics of not unnecessarily putting your hands on people and using force when you don’t need to.
