Located at Notting Hill Gate, ULI offers a fresh, honest approach to Asian cuisine. Natural limed oak, soft tones of blue and contemporary art give the restaurant a clean and informal look, highlighted by a hanging garden of pendant lights. Our menu encompasses carefully selected dishes from Asia, all prepared using traditional Chinese, Thai, Malay and Singaporean disciplines. We believe that Asian food should be clean, fresh and healthy, and that each dish should always be made from scratch.

Originally established on the All Saints Road in 1997, ULI became a firm favourite among locals and critics alike. At its new home on Ladbroke Road where our terrace forms part of the vibrant local scene, ULI serves lunch and dinner all week as well as an extensive range of snacks, cocktails and beverages.

I’m from California, and I am very very grateful to find healthy fresh Thai/Chinese/Asian cuisine here in London. You can tell that each dish, sauce, and every vegetable, is cut fresh and made from scratch. It lacks the typical overdose of sodium/fake flavors/colors, so you may need to adjust your pallet; yet if you care about genuine quality — this is the place. I love Uli, and feel grateful that I can feel even more wonderful by feasting here!

The food was delicious but my review is really about the customer service. Despite my train being delayed by over an hour and having initially called to push the time back, the team did their best to accommodate me which I really appreciated. It was my partner's 32nd Birthday meal and the vermicelli fried noodles did not dissapoint. The portion size was much bigger than I expected - which I was so pleased about. The chickeb gyoza's were over fried but still tasty. The sweet and sour lacked sauce, it was more on the dry side but my partner said it was one of the best sweet and sour dishes he had ever had - so that says something! The decor of the covered outdoor seating area is lovely and was heated which made for a cozy feel. Thank you team for going above and beyond we will be back !
