The famous Kings Arms is the oldest pub in Oxford built in 1607 and still standing in its original position. We're quite possibly also the brainiest pub in Oxford too, known for having the highest IQ per square foot of anywhere in the world! Loved by Oxford scholars and tourists alike and renown for fine cask ales, hearty homemade food and our resident ghost. Ali and the team look forward to making you at home.
Perfect for private dining, drinks parties and even large tour groups for up to 100 for lunch.

Lovely traditional Oxford pub. A really nice atmosphere, a great place for a beer or two

It reminded me of a good old fashioned pub. It had interesting nooks & crannies. The food was great. Good choice & well cooked. I'll be going back.

Nice environment especially if you sit outside to enjoy the view. Delicious with the exemption of the mash potatoes - they were very salty.

The King's Arms is one of the dwindling number of Oxford pubs that hasn't been pimped by gormless brewery marketing kids. It is comforting to revisit Oxford year on year and find such boozers that are just as you last saw them. The KA possesses the kind of abundant charm that doesn't need messing with...but the management know this charm is very alluring, so charge a premium for a pint.

Lovely old pub. Welcome could have been a bit warmer! Didn't eat hear, so can't comment on the food.
