We spent 14/02 at London Zoo and had the most amazing day. Considering it was half term it was relatively quiet and we had easy access to all the attractions. I haven’t been to the zoo since I was a child myself so taking my own children (14&8) was so wonderful as the zoo has developed so much: lots of walk-through enclosures and all the animals were so easy to see/gain access to. The vet experience was a lovely free extra which my daughter loved. Gift shop and food and drinks were all very reasonable. We had an amazing day and would definitely return again. It was a real treat!

Great fun! I guess only downside is parents not keeping an eye on their kids around the animals, which can in turn ruin it for the animals (and everyone else). This isn’t the zoos fault however, and we loved our day out to the zoo. Staff were super friendly and helpful

Visiting London Zoo was a roaring success! While finding parking on a weekend proved a bit tricky (it's clearly a popular spot!), the helpful staff quickly pointed us in the right direction. Once inside, the excitement bubbled over, especially for the little ones. We loved exploring the diverse habitats, from playful penguins to majestic lions. Every turn offered a new animal encounter, sparking endless curiosity and wonder. The food hall deserves a special mention. It wasn't just the usual greasy zoo fare. They offered a surprising variety of delicious meals to keep everyone happy. London Zoo is a haven for little explorers. There were interactive exhibits, educational talks, and even animal feeding sessions that had the kids squealing with delight. The zoo cleverly combines entertainment with learning, making it a genuinely enriching experience for the whole family. One top tip: Planning ahead pays off! We scored discounted tickets online. Overall, our trip to London Zoo was a roaring success. We left with tired legs, happy hearts, and a renewed appreciation for the animal kingdom. Highly recommended for a fun and educational day out with the whole crew!

Genuinely a lovely day out with the little ones. Lots to see. Lots of space to move around. There are lots of talks about the animals by friendly staff who are happy to talk further about the animals after. Toilet facilities were clean. Parking is available off site and street parking is available. Parking charges are on the high end.

Had a lovely day meeting up with the grandchildren after the New Year. Obviously the weather is not on your side at that time of the year but there are plenty of indoor spaces to view the animals to get out of the rain. A trip to the zoo is always a pleasure and I would highly recommend it for a day out, especially on a nice day. I would have given it five stars but the restaurant food was greatly disappointing, the fish and chips were luke warm and the batter soggy, the peas and corn were stone cold and the meals were not cheap, in the future we will avoid the catering here.
